Arrival in Hawaii

Sorry, meant to tell you, but we had trouble. We got out of the sub (still plan-less) and were attacked by magma creatures (they sure do like creatures created from their element.) We beat them with ease, thanks to H2O. It was then Psight suggested we go back to the sub, as he had received a vision that put us there five minutes from then. So we did what he said and here we are now.
"Sorry about bringing you all back here guys, and sorry about lying about a plan. But I need to deliver a message to Glutton. And for sone reason I have to do it here. So Glutton, please listen. You are to stay here. Do not go outside. Your life and the future of this planet depends on it." "You don't need to convince me." "Well, we're sorted then. Time to stop another bad guy."

Present Day

You're gonna be hearing a lot of me until Rag gets back. We found a way of getting to Hawaii in the form of a submarine. And thanks to H2O who manipulated the currents around the sub, we are now on our way. We don't have a plan so from here on we rely on luck. I'll do another post when we get to Hawaii. Not much to tell you, after all, traveling the globe by sub isn't that fast really.

Worst Fears.....

It has now come to light that T has been taken against his own will by an unknown force. Without the experience of him or Rag, we are doomed. We need a miracle if we're to save the world this time......

When the sky rains fire....

Hiya folks. You know this mornings post asking (or even wishing) for no trouble until Rag comes back? It didn't happen. We received a message from a guy called Magmaton, who said he wasn't going to let some hooded guy get in over his head. So he decided to try and take over as well. Why these guys always inform us of their plan is a mystery to me, but it helps, so no complaints ;)
We tried contacting T to ask for help on locating this guy, but we got no answer (hope he hasn't been taken as well. We are properly screwed if he has.) So we searched ourselves. And that's when disaster struck. It started to rain fire. This guy is most probably the strongest and most ruthless guy yet. He clearly didn't care about the lives of people and showed it in the destruction he caused. And it was our job to stop him. But now we had something to look for. The source of the fire. And we found it, a red energy field, surrounding a volcano island. But not just any island. An inhabited island. Hawaii. And we had no way of getting there without our friends. We were truly alone.

Crossed fingers

Hi folks, Skyblade here again. I now know where Rag is. I've read T's post and I agree with the title. Doomed. Let's just hope nothing major needs our attention. We only just beat Chill and Nightshade before, and Rag was with us for those. Our luck can't be that bad. Still, we can always rely on T for help if needed.

Where is Rag?

Hi, Skyblade here. Rag's not here. Strange considering he told us all to get here fast, and that he'd meet us. Anyway thought I'd tell you about something else weird we noticed when we got here. Pluto was missing and the main computer was destroyed, so I've had to type this on the backup computer. Something has happened, I just know it. T, if you read this and know anything, please, HELP US FIND RAG!!! Even Psight hasn't a clue where he is!!!

Autoblog activated: 0001

Hey guys, thought I'd give you an update on the whole 'Hooded guy' thing.
So, I assume you all saw the broadcast T mentioned in his post, it was everywhere after all. T's been on red alert ever since, going into a huge panic and a massive overload finding stuff out. He started rising into the air, spinning rapidly on the spot, as all his machines, devices, gadgets, computers, tv's, etc, let out this high pitched whine and then started making this weebly beeping noise, with binary flying across all the screens. Occasionally a picture of HG or a teammate popped up on a screen, being analysed or something, and vanished again. Same thing happened on my phone. Wisps of faint colour or light seemed to come from the machines, outside, and the air itself, and fly into him. He started mumbling frantically, and roots burst into life at his feet, spreading outside. After a few minutes of this, he calmed down and collapsed to the floor. 'I really, REALLY shouldn't do that just after lunch. Eurgh.'
He looked ill. He slowly sat up, rubbing his head, and looked at me. 'We don't have long.'
'Your eyes are green, with scrolling binary?'
'Oh, sorry. Must be why my visions gone bad.' He shook his head, scrunching his face and blinking rapidly. 'Ah, that's better. Rag, I need you to go to SOLAR'S base, assemble the team. Open the videolink when you're all ready, I'll give you more instructions then.'
'Sure, we'll be ready.'
I tripped over a root on my way out, as it receded and died.
'Hey, did the roots actually TELL you anything?'
'Yep'
'Like what?'
'More than you'd think.'
'.....right. Thanks for clearing that up.'
I got over here ok, and called everyone. Thought I'd do this while I waited. T set up a voice thing, so I'm actually dictating this. This actually picks up sound really well, it's great. I'm in the main observatory area, and I'm a few metres from the computer, talking normally, and its getting everything clearly, even punctuating pauses and stuff.
Ah, I do love it when you people blog.
What?! You!
Hmm, it doesn't just pick up your voice it seems, it's following me too. To business. You are Ragnarok. You are mine.
Not bloody likely! Computer, open wavelength to record directly from Ragnarok's phone! I'm getting out of here!
Tempest program 4 activated. Audio record of secondary electronic unit b in effect.
'T? Code, I dunno, hooded guy. Code hooded guy!'
'What!? Ok, get to the planet room! I'm so sorry I sent you over there! You shouldn't have gone alone!'
'Not your fault, don't worry about it. Why am I going to a dead end room?
'You're not. You're going to a room with planets and a skylight.'
'Oh. Ok, nearly in, woah, Pluto's got a big hole now?'
'Get in.'
'oooooook.....hey it's closing!'
'Duh. Hold tight!'
'Wha?! What the hell is it doing?!'
'Taking off.'
'Wow.'
(smashing noise)
'Holy (CENSORED via program 243)'
(CENSORED via program 243)
(CENSORED via program 243)
(CENSORED via program 243)
(CENSORED via program 243)
'Owwww! Better landing please?'
'Sorry. But you're out, and quite far away from the base.'
'Yeah, thanks, I'll head back over to you.'
No, you won't.
'Rag? Who was that? Is someone with you?'
'Oh (CENSORED via program 243)'

Console destroyed. Emergency Tempest program 249 activated. Autoblog of last known recording in progress.

Hero/Villain Information - Psight

Hi. Psight here. Rag wants me to tell you about myself.
I met him at an open evening for college, and we just ended up talking. I ended up showing him the vision of the future he told you about in the post he introduced me and Supersonic.
So something about my powers. Any visions that I have had previously I can show to other people. But there are the visions that have yet to happen. When this happens, I can make like a video copy in my mind and store it there for life. This lets me show others. But things can go wrong, and people may not see what I intend to show them, as is the case with Rag. His power must have re-acted to mine in a weird way and caused him to see a vision that even I have not seen.
That's basically all I have to tell at the moment. Bye.

Hero/Villain Information - Tempest Clone 1

Hi, its me, Rag again. Like the previous posts under similar titles, I thought I'd tell you about the latest additions to our team as well as our enemies. So here is another enemy to add to the list.
This is an exact clone of T, but is under the control of Pangea and only has one of the original's abilities. Flora and Terrakinesis. But the power the clone has is huge, as is with the rest of Pangea. That is, enough power to affect the whole planet. Now, there isn't much more I can tell because he is no more, as T sacrificed his clone to help the planet back to normality. But I feel that if they can create a clone of T of all people with even two of his powers, whats to say they can't do the same with anyone else and their abilities. We need to learn from this encounter, Pangea are much stronger than we first thought. And instead of the usual warning of BEWARE THIS OPPONENT, I give you the warning, BEWARE YOURSELF!!!!

More Training 2

We all met back at the observatory today, but Centaur didn't show up. Guess he figured he didn't need to after he finished his fights. There was a real showdown between him and H2O though. A huge underwater fight, which H2O came out on top. Even though Centaur 'grew' gills, he still couldn't beat H2O, who simply made sure he couldn't get any air by surrounding him in a bubble and then of course no air could get in anyway.
But enough of that. It was Diffy's turn again but this time we were to face him all at once. Even though Glutton was given a small dose of Diffy's nightmare cloud last time, he scoffed at the idea of all of us against him. While we had all got more powerful, Diffy had also (Tempest's and Playwrite's private 'lessons' were obviously proving a success), and no sooner as we started to attack, Diffy simply engulfed us into one shared illusion. The illusion was that we had won, but the reality was that Diffy had gone around and tied everyones shoelaces together and then woken us up. So that's how a group of teenagers was floored by a little kid. Embarrassing for us I can tell you.
And next was Pete's turn. I wouldn't fight him because my power would end up killing him (maybe me too if I'm not careful) so it was left to the others. And Pete beat them all. All he did was make sure he came into contact with each of them and then quickly transferred their powers into a small ring he wore. He did put them back afterwards though.
After everyone had recovered (thanks to Healthbar's amazing healing sunbeam trick. She is truly an amazing feat of nature.) we took it turns to face Doolittle. I think I'll mention how she arrived. On a tiger. A wild Tiger. She wouldn't say where she got it from or even how she got it passed the normal people on the way here. But she let her 'pet' fight us while she told it what to do. To be honest, none of us put up much of a fight, we were all a bit nervous. Me especially since the last time I came into contact with an animal I turned into it (the waspynous has only just properly left my system, so I didn't fancy the idea of having a snack on anyone nearby.)
Last of all was T's turn. And yet again it was S.o.l.a.r. vs Tempest. But I'll let him tell you about that. Seeya!!

More training 1

This post will tell you of the next training session we had, but I will only tell you of the more interesting fights as there are too many to write about.
It was decided by the rest of the team and Tempest that we needed to have another training session. But there were going to be some differences. This time it was going to be held in the observatory. And some other members of VHS were going to be there as well as the ones at the last training session (basically Diffy, Playwrite and Tempest, as well as Pete, Doolittle and Centaur. T couldn't hold of Tingle, Don or anyone else. They seem to have vanished?)
After explaining what each of the new foes could do, Skyblade went up against Centaur. Now Centaur became a part of Zodiac for a reason. He is incredibly skilled at DNA mutation. But that was useless when a slab of air pinned him to the ground. Even someone with super strength can have trouble lifting solid air, as normal air is incredibly heavy as is, it's just that we're used to it. So a slab of solid air squashed together into a dense, well, slab is one of the heaviest things. But obviously it has it's weaknesses. And Centaur figured one out. He changed into a larger creature, so the slab of air was forced up, then quickly changed into a smaller creature and used his agility to escape. It was then he gave himself a scorpions tail and stung Skyblade in the neck. The venom wasn't lethal, but it was effective, and soon Skyblade was unconscious on the floor.
The next fight was against Playwrite, and yet again he said he could take us all on. So one against eight. Things were starting to get fairer on us. But as usual, Playwrite stopped all of our attacks. Except for one person. Psight had predicted this, and had taken measures against it (don't ask me how, but as a guess, he did the same thing as Eragon did in the books, and of course knew what parts to lock up and when.) Of course Playwrite knew what he was doing and tried to find a way round it but yet again Psight was ready, and knew how to adjust his defenses. In the end, it was considered a draw between Psight and Playwrite as neither could make a move against the other without the other finding a way round it. But for the rest of us it was a loss. "A draw is better than a loss or a victory, because there are no bad feelings from the loser about the winner. That's why I did what I did." "You did well to resist me Psight. Not many people learn how." "Years of mental training comes in handy. I'd known about this for a while." After fighting Playwrite everyone was a bit tired, after all, the Psight-Playwrite showdown went on for a few hours.
The next day in the next post people!!

Introducing... Psight and Supersonic

This is what happened after the world returned to normal. I thought about posting it and decided it was important enough to tell you. I haven't said anything to Solar, mostly because its easier to write down than to say.
We all had a really tiring few days at college and uni after fighting evil Tempest and his army. But we had to go. Unexplained absences would let people think something was up. Good did come out of it though. It was in college when I first met him. Psight. A perfectly normal looking guy, but I could sense something emanating from him, but was unsure what. It was open evening, and he had come to look round. I was waiting for my cousin, since he was also coming to look round.
More about my cousin first. We had been emailing for a month now, and it started when he contacted me about something strange he had done. He was walking along with a group of his mates when he suddenly realised they were no longer there. So he looked back and saw they were a few hundred yards away and walking really slowly. They hadn't even noticed he was gone. So he walked back towards them and suddenly they were back at normal speed, with him facing them. They didn't really care much that one second he was with them and then he was looking at them. So after a few more incidents (one involving a sonic boom) we had both decided he had super speed. This meeting at college was the first since he discovered his power. And I had offered to help him manage it.
And this also leads me to meeting Psight. We met while I was waiting for my cousin to show up. Being curious about this person and suspecting he had powers, I took a risk, and asked him what power he had. "I'll tell you, Ragnarok, if you let me join Solar." "Ok, I think I've already worked it out. You're a mind reader?" "No. I was supposed to meet you here. You will let me join Solar and now..." "So you're a precognitive?" "...you'll guess what I am. Yes I'm a precognitive." "We could use you. But how do I know I can trust you?" "I disagree with Pangea. I want them destroyed as much as you. Here, I'll show you another reason why you can trust me..." and he grabbed my hand. Immediately I was sucked into a blackness and saw a ruined Cambridge. And a person, fighting against someone standing in the shadows of a ruined building, with bodies scattered around them in the rubble. I recognised some of the bodies, and Skyblade, falling to the ground in front of where the other person was standing. "You won't be a pain to me anymore." the guy said, just as he started to step out of the shadows. But then it was gone, and I was back with Psight. "How can I trust you after seeing THAT!?!?" "You can't have seen the right vision. I wanted to show you something else, but it wouldn't allow it. It seems that this secret was meant for me." "I know I shouldn't do this straight away, but I believe I can trust you. But I need to meet someone, he should be here.... now. Hiya Chris. What's up?" "Not much. Who's this? I thought this was meant to be a secret?" "Sorry, this is Psight. Just met him actually. Joining Solar, just like you, so your secrets safe." "Nice to meet you Supersonic." "Hi." That's all the important stuff. Won't bother telling you about the tour of the college. See you!

Solar vs Plant and Rock Monsters

Surprisingly a lot tougher than it sounds. Warriors of different sizes and shapes, some created from different plants, some from different rocks and some made from a bit of both. The challenge wasn't in beating the warriors, it was in fighting them non-stop without rest (evil clone T kept on replacing ones we destroyed with more, even as the originals regenerated using plants or rock). And of course they had (limited) power of the thing they were made of. It wasn't long before we were surrounded, but we held our ground and kept them back from us. I had already come into close contact with a rock and plant monster, and found that if I held the contact for long enough, a 'skin' rock would develop on me, and the plant parts on the monster would wither and die, leaving me crackling with green energy. "This basic plant energy could come in useful. Oi, T, remember the times we used to play pokemon?" I shouted at him. "Oh, brilliant idea Rag!!" "Knew you'd get it!!" So I ran forward towards a full plant creature. As soon as my hand came into contact with it, it started to wither and die, leaving my rocky arms glowing bright green. "You're in trouble now you stupid rock things. You haven't played video games like I have and so I should tell you, GRASS BEATS ROCK, ALWAYS!!!" and I grew seeds from my rocky fingers and launched a seed flare. "Nicely done Rag!!!" good Tempest shouted back. But the energy didn't last long. That one attack drained the plant energy from me immediately. Luckily, there were plenty of sources around. More practises with my new temporary attacks and I realised small attacks like vine whip or razor leaf I could use four or five times without being drained, while a stronger attack like seed flare would drain me in one. I even managed a frenzy plant, but that left me unable to move for ten minutes. So the fights went on and on for an hour or two before good T managed to beat evil Tempest. With him finished, his plant and rock friends could no longer regenerate, and fell to bits. T even absorbed some of his evil clones power and control over terra and florakenesis, and while linked, used the last of his clones strength to kill off all the sleep plants and rewrite the biology of the spores to awaken everyone. With no power or strength, the clone was finished, so T buried him in a rock tomb (he was evil, but we are not. Everyone should be treated as equals). That's it for now folks!

The storm that created a paradise.

So there we all are, standing inside a giant stone pyramid, looking at an oasis. A proper paradise, water and plants everywhere! Even the air smelled clean. Initially we forgot why we were there, but soon remembered that we were investigating this 'other Tempest.' Hence the title of this post. Glutton was the only one not thrilled by the sight. "YOU ARE JOKING!!! WE HAVE TO DO MORE WALKING?!?" "Afraid so G."
So we walked. Until we reached a clearing with a little pond near the edge. And in the middle was a stone throne of beautiful design. And in that sat Tempest. We were shocked to say the least.
"So, will you take me up on that offer?" "No chance." "Why not? You've seen what I've created in this small area, imagine the whole planet like this. We will be praised for eliminating global warming, and ultimately save the human race, both powerful and non-powerful alike." "But you've put the whole planet to sleep!! You can't tell me you have good intentions!!" "I'm getting tired of this now, believe what you like." "I believe the Tempest I know would NEVER do this!!" "And he knows he can STILL believe it!!" the real Tempest shouted as Incog made him visible again. "So you knew I was a fraud all along??" "Well duh. You may have flora and terrakenesis like the real Tempest, but GOD your thick. You didn't realise the real T might be with us when we got the message? You didn't realise he was part of our team like I'm a part of his? All of that was your undoing." "Well it's too late now. I may have a fraction of the real versions powers, but the powers I do have a hundreds of times stronger!!" "Strength isn't everything, clone me, you need the brains too. And from what I've learned, your seriously lacking that factor. That is your weakness." "We'll see whose the stronger version... You vs me, no-one else interferes. Just to make sure..." And evil T created an army of plant and stone warriors. Solar vs plant and rock army, Tempest vs Tempest. Who will win? I'll let T write about his fight, but I'll do Solar's fight in the next post.

A Pyramid Surprise

With transport sorted, we all borded the plane T had technopathed into working and zoomed of towards Jutai. After a fairly long time we landed. Incog made T invisible and we all walked to the location 'Tempest' specified. But there was no-one around. There were only two stone golems, standing guard to a trail into the jungle. In moments they came to life and surrounded us. "YOU MUST FOLLOW US" they said in T's voice. "Why?" "WE WILL TAKE YOU TO HIM" "It looks like he does have your terrakenisis after all T." I whispered. We walked for hours down this tiny little trail until we stood at the base of a stone pyramid. It was enormous. "ENTER THROUGH HERE" the golem pointed at the base of the pyramid, where a door opened. "Good thing none of us is afraid of the dark."
We walked on through the outer wall of the pyramid, until we came to a door with more golems standing guard outside. "ENTER" "Ok, we get you, no need to roar." We stepped through the now open door, and found ourselves looking at a truly incredible sight....

Bed Time Planet Earth!!

So, we all get a day off, and what do you know? The world falls into peril (again). Villains ever heard of days off? We were all at the base, chilling with T. That's when some strange plants started to grow through the floor. T immediately jumped to attention and tried to make them wither, but it wasn't working. The plants then started to release spores, and T put us all inside his forcefield. After standing around for fifteen minutes or so, or until the plants stopped releasing spores, T released us and we all went outside. "They're everywhere!!!" "Seems to me like Pangea's at work again!!" It was then we received a message. From Tempest. "Why are you contacting us T?" "Are you kidding me? I also got the message you idiots!" "Ok, no need to shout at us!!" "Well would you be happy if someone who was claiming they were you left a message like this?" So he played the message. "Hello Solar, Tempest here. Just wanted you to know that I've chucked in the hero life and turned to Pangea. Their plans would make the planet better for our kind, we wouldn't have to hide anymore. I hope you join me and see things from our point of view. They can bring what we've all been fighting for to reality. Meet me in Jutai, it's one of the largest villages in West Amazonia. I'll talk more once I've lead you to my new base from there." "Yeah, it does seem unlikely you would say that..." "Well, considering this message was sent ten minutes ago and I've been here all morning, and the fact that I would NEVER work for evil groups. But there's something fishy going on here. It's my signature signal alright, and florakenisis is part of one of my powers along with terrakenisis. But my power is no where near strong enough to do anything globally. I think we should meet this 'other' me where he wants us to." "We can't let him know you're with us though, or he will obviously suspect something and could destroy the whole village trying to fight us." "Good point, Rag. So I have an idea. He'll be expecting all of Solar won't he? Well, this Quell guy's not here (again), and Incog could invisify me. Then when needed, re-visify me." "Ok cool. We also need aeroplane tickets to get to Jutai." "But everyones asleep..."Oh yeah... Soz, just got used to asking. KNow any ways of..." "Already have it covered!" More next time folks!!

Hero/Villain Information - Chill

Another member of Pangea, Chill is a female in her late twenties who has huge control over anything to do with ice. First time we fought her, she was making it snow everywhere around the globe, while fighting me, Skyblade and MaxMin, while we had limited firepower (literally). But we never finished the fight because Glutton and Incognito had started to destroy her base (nice work by the way fellas!!) and managed to rescue another evolved human in the process. She teleported away before we could stop her, and we later found she had another base. We must have really angered her, as more snow than ever had started to fall outside. So we found her other base we we confronted her again (all of us this time) but the others were frozen or couldn't help (Glutton refused, he always has been a bit reluctant to risk his life) which left me, the only one with firepower left. While she was taunting, I seized the chance and sent a fireball straight to her face, scarring her.
So, she controls ice. She's an cryokenetic. But her power is unbelievable. I mean, how many people do you know of who can create an ice age IN A DAY OR TWO?? Tempest might be able to (he wouldn't of course) but even when he tried to stop the snow falling, it kept starting again. Just goes to show how much power she has. Another link to what Pangea's plans are. Another BEWARE THIS OPPONENT!!

Hero/Villain Information - Nightshade

This is Ragnarok again. I'm going to have my say on the villains because I don't want to give the access to the blog (Not sure they'd tell us about themselves anyway). So this is Nightshade's.
He can control light and darkness extremely well. His abilities are extraordinary, as he took out my team (me, Skyblade, MaxMin and Quell) with great ease. We only beat him because of Incognito, who, while invisible, came around the back of Nightshade and walloped him over the head.
Nightshade was the first of a group called Pangea, whose objectives are to change and rule the world, and disgrace Solar, VHS, Zodiac and other good teams of evolved humans (we've only worked this much out so far from comments on here and on Tempest's blog, from the fact that their name is Pangea (the super continent before the current world) and that so far, the villains we've been up against have had powers relating to the climate and have affected the entire planet.)
The attack he used most on us were spheres of light and darkness, that when hit a target, can have explosive results.
His technique to cause planetary chaos was to make everywhere twilight. Note: he may use this or even total darkness during a fight to confuse opponents. Likewise, he may also use blinding light in the same way.
BEWARE THIS OPPONENT!!!

Hero/Villain Information - H2O

This is H2O here, Solar's newest member. I joined because they rescued me from Chill, they can help me manage my powers and for protection.
My power is Water Mimicry. I can behave like water. It's pretty awesome, but when it activates without me wanting it too, it can be quite problematic. That's how Chill found me in the first place. She heard about me and my power, figured she could use me, and caught me in puddle form. Not very useful against an cryokenetic.
With the mimicry, I have slight control over water as well. It helps if I lose a limb or something because I can just turn into water and grow it back using more water. Also while behaving like water, I can split up and move as separate liquids, to do many things at once. There is a limit however, but so far it's three separate puddles. If needed, I could split as a puddle, join more water to each, and make two me's!! Original me would still have control over the other, and I get sent information from the other me's senses. Fighting is a bit difficult though, requires more concentration, which I can probably learn with Solar. See you later!!

Hero/Villain Information - Glutton

This is Glutton. Just to let you know, I really can't be bothered with this, so I'm gonna keep it short.
I didn't want to join Solar at first, just because I thought they were government agents after me. But they helped me escape from real agents and so I joined.
My main power is being able to eat. Anything and any amount. This brings side effects in the form of other powers. But the main one I use is puke. That's right, I throw up. The stuff I eat give me extra strong acid that I can puke up at will. I won't bother going into more detail about this or the other side effect powers I have. Haven't used any others yet is why. Let's just say, they are along the same sort of lines as stomach stuff. Bye for now.

Normal people.... Who needs them??

I wish normal people would all just DIE!! They make life hell for our kind, and without them, there will be more room on this cursed planet. With evolved humans dominating the planet, we could move elsewhere using our abilities, and extend our empire into the heavens!! We could be sooo much more as a race with just our kind, no fears or lies to hold us back. With the help of VHS and Zodiac, we can rule, WE CAN BECOME THE OMNI RACE!! WE CAN BECOME GODS!!

Hero/Villain Information - Incognito

So I guess it's my turn now. Well as you've probably read from the title, I'm Incognito, but the team mostly calls me Incog. Rag found me in Russia during a a mission to 'turn the lights back on', or so to speak. It must have seemed like I was committing a crime at the time, because I had just walked into an old women (it was pretty dark at the time) and made her drop her handbag. So she started screaming that someone was stealing her handbag! Anyway, it was thanks to me we were able to beat Nightshade (he didn't see me coming, LITERALLY!)
So, about my power. I can become invisible and if I'm in physical contact with another person or people, they do to. But for them to 'turn it off', they need to be in contact with me again. And it's not just 'I can't see you invisibility, I'm also invisible to infrared, x-ray, ultraviolet and microwave forms of detection. Pretty awesome ehhh? Just gotta learn to keep my damn mouth shut and not to make loud steps....

Hero/Villain Information - Quell

Hello, this is Quell. Ragnarok wants us to talk about our power, which seems pointless, he's told you what we each do, but fine. Maybe a history lesson will make this worthwhile.

I am a power calmer or negater. I can calm powers down, or cancel their effects. I know there are people that can turn off other peoples powers, but I can't do that. If for example, this new recruit H2O were to shoot water at me, I could make it vanish on contact with me, but he would still have full control of his power. I can't do this to any body of water, just water affected by an ability. If someone were to throw a table at me, my power would be useless, but if they went to punch with super strength, it would only hit me as a normal punch. I have a little range, so with gestures and the like I could calm, say, a storm caused by an ability. Had I been available the other day, the ice age would have been cleared up a lot faster. I'm not saying I could have calmed it right down, but it would have been a lot weaker. It was where I was.

So, the history lesson. My father was a hero, with an ability, and kept the world safe for many years, until he was killed, by a villain. I have fought ever since. I had tracked him to Russia, but lost him, when I ran into SOLAR. I joined, hoping that they and Tempest could me find my fathers killer. He will pay.

I think that will do. Goodbye.

Hero/Villain Information - MaxMin

Hey, it's MaxMin. None of us actually know why Rags doing this, but my guess is to let people know who we really are, or to serve as a record or something. Well, here's my story.
I lived in Cornwall up to the point when I manifested. And it happened in a public place. Not great, I will admit, but it's not as bad as it sounds. You see, I was working part-time, doing the odd bit of weeding. I was in early, to prepare for another day, when I started to grow. Now, I know I'm a teenager, and growing is something we do, but not like this. My head could almost touch the glass roof. That was when Rag and Sky turned up. They helped me then and showed me there was nothing to fear about powers. So I joined them, vowing I would help them fulfil Solar's key objectives.
As you may have guessed by now, I can change how big I am, but it's only a small part of my power. I can also shrink as well, although I am still unsure of the limits of this. As well as making my self bigger or smaller, I can change my dimensions, but only two or three dimensionally (maybe more? It could be possible seeing as most dimensions have a measurement, and my power let's me change my measurements. Only when said dimensions are measured in meters or feet or like units) That's me in a nutshell, but we are always developing our powers, so this may be outdated in time. Bye for now!!

Hero/Villain Information - Skyblade

Hiya folks, Skyblade here! Rag wants me to tell you about myself.
As I've said, I'm Skyblade and I helped Rag start Solar (the reason he's the leader, is it was his idea and he's been on a team himself, knows how life like that works) and we've 'recruited' a few more members together.
Ok, power explanation. My first, main and only power, is Air Solidification. I can force the air to become a solid object of any size and shape (obviously with more practice). I've used it to create steps, walls and even whole rooms with no air in at all, but the easiest and first thing I learned to make was knives. Hence Skyblade. Out.

Hero/Villain Information - Me (Ragnarok)

Hi people, this post is just to inform you of the team's powers as well as the villains we've encountered so far. Each member will write their own parts, but I'll write the villains info. (obviously DON'T want to give them access!!) I'll do mine first.
So here goes:
Hi, I'm Ragnarok. I am a member of VHS, a group of people with abilities, led by Tempest. Technically, I'm still a member, although Tempest disbanded VHS, mainly due to the fact that we were getting noticed and most of the team went off to college or university as part of becoming hidden (I'm going to college). But I started my own group with someone I met called Skyblade, called Solar (the Society Of Life And Re-establishment), committed to stopping evil forces and helping 'normal' people to understand those with abilities.
My first and main power is called Chaos Touch, which means that I have a strange energy, that reacts to almost anything that I touch. T tried explaining it to me, but he doesn't understand it completely, and it's really confusing. Among the reactions we've discovered, are that if a form of raw energy touches me (Fire, Electricity, etc) My power converts sort of merges with it, so I'm not harmed, and my power's energy becomes electricity, or fire, for, say, a lightning bolts worth of energy/time. I've become a giant wasp, turned to ice, and transformed illusions into my own. It's weird. We know that how much power/time each reaction has is directly linked to how much my power is fed, so if I picked up a pebble, I could turn my hand to stone, but layer would break off fairly easily, and leave me with my normal hand. When we tried me touching a stone wall, it was unaffected, but I turned completely to stone. I was like a statue for the first twenty minutes, but I learnt how to move around as stone in the end. Harder than you'd think. I can move while made of Ice aswell, I've got the whole moving around thing down now.
T thinks that there might be a choice to my power, so eventually, I'll be able to control how I react to certain things. Shoot ice, become fire, etc. Here's hoping!

My second power is a creation of Tempest's called Chlorine Breath. It does what it's called, let's me breath out chlorine. But it has an effect on me also. While it only stings my throat (hellish painful, and my throats really dry afterwards (T reckons it's because, as this isn't my natural power, my body has a bit of a bad reaction too it, it doesn't have all the self protection it should, or something? Like how is Dragon fire feels really hot for him, apparently it was fine for the first Dragon? I dunno)) and leaves me unable to talk properly for a while, enemies who get a blast to the face are rendered unconscious.
The reason I chose the name Ragnarok is because that's the Norse name for the destruction of Earth. In other words, Chaos. And Chaos is what my power can cause if I hold an energy for too long or come into contact with certain abilities.

Chilled to the Bone

We all stood in a circle and linked together. Incog made us all invisible and we started the journey into the cave. We walked through the dimly lit cavern, carefully sneaking past Chill's 'guard' yetis, until we entered a massive chamber at least 60 feet high. No surprises there, we knew the cave went under a mountain, and also that Chill liked huge thrown rooms. "I see you bought everyone along this time. Oh, wait a minute, where is this 'Quell' I heard so much about? Not sneaking around is he? Well, you won't find anything here but my minions." "You needn't worry this time, we don't know where he is either." "Oh well, it's a pity, didn't like him much, but I can still rid my master of your team!" "Your master? You mean the leader of Pangea? Who is he?" "You won't get anymore from me!" "Well it was worth a try!" "Enough talking! Time for you all to die!! Yetis!! ATTACK THEM!!!" We fought off the twenty or so yetis that came crashing through into the cavern. They didn't stand a chance.
"Looks like I'll have to stop you myself!!" "Fine by us, more of a challenge!"
She was fast, I'll give her that, fast enough to freeze Skyblade, Incognito and MaxMin. H2O just stood there shivering, unable to do anything (his ability made him really vulnerable to the cold, and the fact that there was no liquid water around meant he couldn't use his abilities), which left me and Glutton. "I'm not eating ice, it's too cold, my tongue would freeze off!" "What about your puke??" "Not had chance to eat lately, been a bit busy." "WHAAAT?? YOU ALWAYS EAT STUFF!!" "Not recently." "Just me then." "Oh, this is going to be sooo easy!!" "Maybe not!" I launched a fireball at her and caught her face. She looked up after clutching her face and screaming in agony to reveal a red scar across the side of her cheek. "LOOK WHAT YOUV'E DONE!! YOUR'E GOING TO PAY FOR......" My chlorine breath caught her in the face as well. "Serves you right for losing your concentration and caring about your face." I woke the others up and we left the cave. We got outside and I received a message from T. "Well done guys, it's finally stopped!!" And with that, we teleported home. After a few hours everything had returned to normal (T called Healthbar and asked her to melt the snow using sunlight) and the world returned to normal. We had done it again!!!

Dawn of an Ice Age

After wondering why stopping Chill hadn't stopped the blizzard, we received a call from T. "I'm back at the observatory Rag. WHY IS IT STILL SNOWING???" "Well, we stopped Chill..." "You couldn't have. You sure she stopped USING her power?" "Errrmmm... no....." "Well get back here fast, this needs to be sorted. I can help now uni's closed." "Okay, see you in a sec...." We all activated our own teleport system and we were instantly back at base.
"What happened Rag?" T said looking at us from a chair by a fire he made. "Well, the castle started to collapse and she teleported... no idea where she went..." "She must have another base somewhere. At least we know she likes the cold, but not snow so much.." "How'd you establish that Sky?" "Well, she was surrounded by ice in that castle, but there was no snow anywhere near the place to begin with." "Good point, so where ever she is, it won't be anywhere where snow can come into contact with her. I'll start looking around." After a few more minutes, T called out "Found the place, and you won't believe where." "Where?" "Antarctica, one of the coldest, most unexplored & least snowed or rained places. Perfect. Seems she has a base in a cave under the ice. Away from the top layer of snow." "Then that's where we're going. You coming T?" "You know full well I dislike too much cold. But I can sort of help you to get there. Seeing as this place is mostly buried, I can call a friend to teleport you. Remember I told you about Jorge?" "Brill, then we're sorted. I hope this fire last long enough to stop Chill properly."
And after a quick call to Jorge in his dimension, all of Solar (still minus Quell, dunno where he goes, but we've gotten used to it) were in Antarctica, outside of a deep cavern. "Well, in we go. We've got to stop her this time, before it's too late.."

Frozen Stiff

While me, Skyblade and MaxMin were busy with Chill, Incognito and Glutton had found a secure chamber with two snow yetis standing outside. "Looks like we'll need to defrost them." "Oh, this is gonna be fun!!" So Incog grabbed Gluttons wrist and both turned invisible. "This is sooo weird.." "You get used to it." They crept up to the yetis, and roasted them with fire. "That's them sorted! Now let's see what's inside!" They melted the door, and found a range of electrical equipment, in the centre of which stood a huge, translucent block of ice with a kid in. "We've got to get him out of there!"
In the thrown room, we were still busy fighting Chill, but we were evenly matched. "Can you just tell us one thing?" I shouted, launching an attack. "Last request?" "If you like." "Well, I have a machine that can control and amplify a persons abilities. I found myself a water mimic, who has slight water control." "Oh, so if we were to rescue this person, the lake would become unstable and the castle would sink?" "But how can you free them from beyond the grave? Unless... wait.... NO!!!!! YOU LIED WHEN YOU SAID IT WAS JUST YOU THREE!!!" Suddenly the whole place started to tremble. "Activate Emergency Teleport System!! ACTIVATE ETS!!!" Then Chill vanished. "We've got to get out of here, fast!!" We ran out of the castle, meeting Glutton, Incog and a new kid ("He calls himself H2O Rag! We freed him from a machine and this place started to collapse!") and Sky made another of his rafts of air and flew us to safety. But we looked on, out towards the lakes shore, and gasped. The blizzard was coming down, heavier than before....

Into the Ice Castle

We all walked out onto the edge of the lake, just as a test of strength, but it started to creak and crack, and we quickly moved off. "I have an idea about getting across Rag. I could make a sort of magic carpet and fly us over." "That's not a bad idea, Sky, but are you sure you can take us all over there at once?" "It shouldn't be a problem." "Okay, transports sorted, we just need to work out what to do when we get in there." "You know, there's got to be some way the lakes holding up that amount of ice. If we can find out, perhaps we can use it to our advantage." "Another fantastic idea, well done MaxMin! So if divide into two groups, group A can take out whatever is keeping that thing up, while group B can confront Chill. Then we can try to get out before we all drown or freeze. I have enough fire liquid to give each of you enough fire to keep you warm and to use for light attacks only." So with a fairly decent plan, we set off on Skyblade's magic carpet of air.
As we neared the doors, I organised the two groups. Group A would consist of Glutton and Incognito, while group B would contain me, Skyblade and MaxMin. I used my fire to melt through the doors of ice, and we entered. Group A took a left and group B took a right. My group shortly encountered a large door, which I melted and we walked through. It was a large thrown room, with a massive chair of ice in the centre. "I've been expecting you, although I did expect more of you." "That's because everyone else is busy." "Well, next time, I'll make sure to 'invite' you on a day when you can all make it. More of you to wipe out." "Just try it..."

As Cold as Ice

We arrived in Russia where we got a train to a quiet little village in the middle of Siberia, a few miles south of the frozen castle. With a bit of help 'acquiring' some money from T, we all bought some thick coats, loads of socks and some snow shoes. As we left the village and wandered north, a blizzard started up. Not just a normal blizzard though, a really strong, hurricane force wind, with endless snow. My phone rang (surprisingly it still worked in the horribly cold conditions) and T spoke. "Whatever you're doing, you'd better hurry it up, Rag! There's reports of blizzards globally, even in Death Valley and the Sahara!" "Working on it T!! Oh, you couldn't send me a bit of fire could you? And if you have another little gadget, one that can help me temporarily store energy for a bit longer, that would come in really useful!" "I can do better than that, I can send you a new power, but you will only have it for a day or two at the most!" "That may be a better idea, thanks T!" and within a few minutes of hanging up, a small vial of orange-glowing liquid appeared in front of my face, and I took a swig. My hands immediately burst into flames, and I used this new but temporary power to keep us all warm and to light the way. After what seemed like a few hours, we reached the frozen lake, and found no blizzard at all within the lake boundary. We looked to the centre of the lake and saw it. The huge ice castle of Chill, the bringer of an ice age.

Mission: SubZero

So they we all are (minus Quell), sitting around the base after an hour or so of trying to guess where to start, when Tempest gave us a call. "It's taken ages to look, but I think I've found something. It was kind of hard to find, but thanks to my temporary upgrades to the satellite systems, I think I've found the base." "Awesome T!! Where is it?" "Ahhhh, now that could be a problem. It's in Siberia, and it's usually cold enough to make an ice cube shiver this time of year. I took me so long to find it because I couldn't pick up any heat signatures, or see much because it's all the same colour. You're looking for a massive ice castle. On a frozen lake. Covered in snow." "Yeah, so what you're trying to say is it might be a bit cold?" "Just a bit nippy, yeah." "Ok thanks T. I may need you to help us after all, so I'll get a message to you telling you how. You can probably work out where and then I can do the rest." "No problemo."
After a quick ticket arrangement, and a ten minute trip to the airport, we were on the plane to Siberia.

Another day, another mission...

I received yet another message from a villain via the Solar Observatory. I thought Tempest's protection was unbeatable? Anyway, the observatory relayed my message to my iPhone. Needless to say, I had to cut my first day back at college short to go and sort it out.
So I arrived at the base and immediately sent messages to the rest of the team and Tempest via Emergency Contact Protocol 1. 'Come quick. Help needed.' I waited for thirty minutes, doing some planning and power management in the process, before everyone showed up, except for Quell. "I asked you all to come here for a reason. I received a message from a girl who calls herself Chill. She plans on creating the next ice age. So we need to stop her." "I can't come Rag, love too, but don't want to blow my cover." "That's fine T, but I still may need you on this one..." "Just call me and I'll see what I can do." "Okay... oh, just got a message from Quell. He can't make this mission... guess we'd better try without him..." So that was that. Solar set out on another mission to save the world from bad guys. We had no idea (again) where we were going, but we had someone at home to guide and help us on our way. Another day, another mission and more posts!!!
