Here's an update on the situation. The world woke up this morning to find no light. Well, to be exact, hardly any light at all. The world was covered in twilight. A person called Nightshade contacted our base and told us not to bother trying to stop him. But we decided to try.
Anyway, at the moment me, Skyblade, MaxMin, and two newcomers, Quell and Incognito, are traveling to Chernobyl, where Tempest tracked Nightshade's base to. "Basically, all of us except Incognito will confront Nightshade. Incog, you'll be invisible when we enter his location so he doesn't know about you. Then when we have him talking, you'll go behind and knock him round the back of the head." "Sounds like a plan." "What if he has sensors? You know heat ones." "No problem, I'm invisible to infrared and x-rays as well."
So with that, we arrived. It was a dark (obviously), dank place with no sign of life, except for a faint glowing in the distance. "Looks as though T was right." "Yeah, but that might not be a good thing." "What do you mean, Quell?" "I've heard stories about this guy. He's really skilled at fighting." "Well, we have a secret weapon." I said nodding at Incog.
So we walked for what seemed like forever, carefully judging our footsteps (it seemed darker here. Perhaps Nightshade made it darker to stop people coming near?) until we were at a door. "Now Incog." "Ok." And suddenly he vanished. I knocked on the door and it opened. We stepped in and saw a strange looking figure, sitting on a custom throne. "I thought I told you NOT to try and stop me." "Yeah well, no such luck." "Then on your head be it.." He created a sphere of swirling darkness and light, and then threw it at MaxMin. The effect of the two opposite energies hit MaxMin square in the chest. And knocked him out. Nightshade then created more and more and started hurling them at the rest of us. Skyblade was trying to slice the spheres and create Walls of solid air, whilst I tried to absorb as much as I could. Eventually, we both fell as one sphere got past Sky, and the amount of absorbed energy became too much for me. Quell meanwhile was still standing, although appeared shaky. "You are stronger now than when we last met, my friend. But remember where your allegiance truely is!" "It is with Solar, Nightshade. You will not beat us. NOW INCOG!!" Quell collapsed onto the floor, just as Incognito hit Nightshade round the head with an iron bar. "Didn't know about me, didja?"
With the master as good as dead, the spheres of energy that attacked us vanished, as did their effects. "Well done Incog, that was great timing." "Can we get back now, Rag?" "Sure, why not?" And as we opened the door, the sun shone bright into our eyes, and we knew it was over. We had saved the world from chaos. Not bad for a team that can't manage it's powers properly yet, ehh?
